BCC Email archiving is the collection and silent forwarding of all incoming and outgoing email from the email accounts on your domain to a separate email address(es) for the purpose of quality control or basic backup.
Why use BCC Email Archiving?
BCC Email Archiving is useful in commercial situations for monitoring, quality control purposes or basic email backup*. Each email that is sent or received from your domain will be forwarded silently to two separate mailboxes, one for the received emails and another for the sent emails.
*Although BCC archiving can be used as a backup feature for emails sent and received from your domain, it is not a full backup feature and is limited to 10GB in space. For full, permanent, unlimited backup/archiving service, you should consider the Mailtrust Email Archiving Service.
How does BCC Email Archiving work?
Our Mailtrust Email servers can be configured to silently forward a copy of all incoming and outgoing email to two specially created email accounts for the incoming and outgoing email.
