Data Protection Law
As of April 2008, the Data Protection law (LOPD) 15/1999 became effective. This law affects every Spanish company and registered autonomos that has personal data in their records. These can be manual or electronic files. It is an OBLIGATION to comply with this law and to register such files at the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Personal Data means third party ́s information such as names, phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc.
