How does our backup procedure work?
You will send us your database connection settings and we will connect to your database server remotely and run an automated process at a time specified by you, after which our system will download a copy of your database to our remote storage server.
After the mysql database is backed up, you will receive an email from our system informing you that the database backup has taken place along with a report of what was backed up as well as, if/or, there were any issues with the back up.
In the event of a catastrophic failure of your live database and you need to restore your mysql database from the backup, you will contact us and we can either send a copy of the mysql database to you, or we will restore the mysql database directly from the backup archive.

MySql Database backup prices start at €50 one off setup fee and €25 per month for 5GB* storage.
*if your backup file is 250MB and you were on daily backup, this would allow retention of around 20 days of backup. (5120mb divided by 250mb)
Requirements for MYSQL Backup Service
- Your mysql server must permit remote connections from a fixed ip
- For backup, we need READ access to the mysql database
- For restores we need FULL READ/WRITE access to the mysql database
