Moving to Mailtrust

How do I start using the Mailtrust Mail Servers?

You are reading this article because you currently have your email hosted with another company and wish to migrate over to the reliable Mailtrust platform.

You will need to point your MX Records to the following domains:

MX1.EMAILSRVR.COM
MX2.EMAILSRVR.COM

To be able to do this you need to have access to your dns records so if you do not know how to do this, please ask your technical representative or domain provider whco should be able to easily change this for yiou.

We also recommend that you apply SPF records for the domain. More infromation about SPF records for Mailtrust can be found here: http://www.123marbella.co.uk/clients/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=71

IMPORTANT NOTE: if you have control panel like Cpanel or similar, then you will need to make sure that the web site server records are treating your email accounts as "EXTERNAL EMAIL". If you dont you might find that any web site generated emails will try to be delivered locally to the web server and never delivered to your email account. See this article about external mail and web forms: http://www.123marbella.co.uk/clients/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=118
